Dr. Paraskevi Sapountzi, MD

Dr. Paraskevi Sapountzi was born and raised in Greece . She earned her doctorate of Medicine from University of Medicine in Jasi , Romania . Dr. Sapountzi received her Internal Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology training at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood . She also did a second fellowship in osteoporosis and infertility at Loyola University Medical Center.

Dr. Sapountzi has a special interest in osteoporosis, diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome and infertility, thyroid and other endocrinological diseases. She is also a published author and member of the Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.

Dr Sapountzi is fluent in Greek (her native language), English and Romanian.

She is married with three children. In her free time, she enjoys time with family and friends.
